Arguably the greatest icon of affluence for over a century, Rolls-Royce has avoided marketing and industry trends and focused solely on master craftsmanship. Holding fast to the concept of automobiles as high art, the 110-year-old marque understands that a masterpiece, by definition, is not made en masse.

“To be truly luxurious, an item has to fulfil a number of important fundamentals,” says Torsten Müller-Ötvös, chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “It should be unique, handcrafted, authentic, beautiful – and rare.”

The team is tasked with creating exquisite examples tailored to the automotive aspirations of its most discriminating clientele. From one-of-a-kind cars to extremely limited-edition runs, here are just a few of the marvels manufactured.
