For its 92nd anniversary, Danish brand Bang & Olufsen has introduced a limited edition series of five speakers that encourages you to go green. Literally. With the natural tone trend colonising interior design minds recently, the Harmonies collection brings together five speaker models – the BeoSound 1, BeoSound 2, BeoSound 35, Beoplay A9 and Beoplay M5 – and dresses them up in a rather au courant shade of green.

And not just any green. The hue used is what B&O calls ‘Infantry Green’, a rich, moss-like tone that recalls Scandinavian forests and military camouflage. It is a colour with multiple personalities. On the aluminium speakers, it can transition from alluring green to golden lustre depending on light and reflections; on fabric, it exists as a woody green or an earthy brown at different angles and lighting. Appealing as individual pieces, the Harmonies collection is best as a whole – the series offers multi-room functionality, enabling the devices to either play contrasting songs in separate rooms or seamlessly (some would say harmoniously) sync with each other to have a single piece of music flow uninterrupted through your home.
