The comforts of the Lady B armchair
For more than fifty years, the Italian house of Busnelli has pushed the boundaries of fine furniture. Its latest creation, Lady B, is an armchair that challenges the heavy aesthetics of leather upholstery. Available in 12 shades of leather – from white, greys, browns, to lipstick red – the armchair measures 110 cm in height and is 114 cm at its widest. Designed by Franco Poli, its intricate shell of coach hide with patented cutting recalls the seductive lace of a woman’s dress. While this may appear fragile, the seat back is surprisingly robust, flexing ever so gently against the supporting structure of tubular metal.
