Chic Western design, Middle Eastern inspiration and the sybaritic pampering of the Orient – the latest must-have home accoutrement from Thailand’s luxury lifestyle spa brand Panpuri has it all.

Parisian designer Jean-Marc Gady has teamed up with the company to create the elegant Wish Limited Edition Aromatic Diffuser. Made from a recyclable plastic polymer, it is both durable and portable.

Gady, who studied at the French capital’s prestigious Ecole Bleue, has worked with the creme de la creme of designer names, including Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. He says of his new venture with Panpuri, “I wanted this piece to look like a magical object – a contemporary vision of the Aladdin lamp, with its vapours signifying everyone’s well-wishes and aspirations.”

The graceful shape of the diffuser masks the practical built-in functions such as a two-hour auto shut-off and two methods of mist dispersion, and needs only a few drops of a Panpuri essential oil to transform the ambience of any room. Only 5,000 have been produced, each costing THB 7,500 (RM895).

Panpuri, which provides spas and natural spa products, is constantly expanding and recently opened in Indonesia.
