The launch of something timeless

Since its inception in 2013, Stellar Works has been unwavering in its dedication to inspire a renaissance in Asian aesthetics, by taking forms and styles from the East, particularly Japan, and merging it with modern industrial techniques. Formed in Japan and based in Shanghai, Stellar Works distils what amounts to centuries of heritage and tradition into salient themes, turning them into something new and something timeless. In its new home in Bangsar, that philosophy is on showcase in every inch of space.

Nestled along the leafy Jalan Maarof, the new Stellar Works flagship in Kuala Lumpur showcases both the Signature and Vintage collections of the brand. Both use time to their advantage: Signature draws inspiration from significant design movements of the past century to inspire thoroughly modern designs; Vintage features designs by designers Vilhelm Wohlert and Carlo Forcolini, updated for today’s contemporary buyers. Creative direction for Stellar Works is overseen by the award winning Neri & Hu Design and Research Office, which contributed the designs for the Utility range of seats, the Ming Chair and the arresting Cabinet of Curiousity, all available at the new KL showroom.
