Inspired by the planets and their movements around the Sun, Slovenian-born jeweller Lara Bohinc designed the Solaris Table (£45,000, RM235,500) as an exquisite stone and metal table dedicated to outer space. This piece represents her first collaboration with stone expert, Lapicida.  Four stacked rings of gold-veined marble, each inset with a highly polished circular brass dish, can be rotated smoothly on a spindle and spread into a formation almost double its size. It’s a magnificent display that highlights the table’s progression from milky white Calacatta Oro marble through to Fior di Bosco, Nero Oro and rich black Nero Marquina.
