A Magical Collaboration Creates a Mesmerising Wallpaper

A designer and a magician create The ILLUSIONIST wallpaper

Together with the English magician Dynamo (also known as Steven Frayne), the South Africa–born interior designer Kelly Hoppen has conjured up the Illusionist Wallpaper collection, a series of innovative wall coverings that will insert a bit of magnetism into any space. The lineup offers two eye-catching designs with a 3-D effect: Paradox depicts an angled, protruding wall of stone and Enigma portrays projecting pillars.

Digitally printed, Paradox is a study in shadows and highlights, while Enigma is a mesmerising geometric pattern, both of which spring to life through the use of trompe l’oeil, producing an optical illusion of depth and creating a greater sense of space. Envisioned by the two U.K.-based creatives for Graham & Brown, a percentage of the proceeds from sales will be donated to The Prince’s Trust youth charity, for which both Hoppen and Dynamo are also ambassadors.
