Put the spark back into dinnertime with Belgian-run, Bangkok-based furniture maker P. Tendercool’s Ping-Pong-cum-Dining Table (US$29,000/RM116,700), which was originally created for the fifth edition of the ‘Le Cabinet de Curiosités of Thomas Erber’ exhibition. The table is made from reclaimed Thai colonial-era hardwood, while the accompanying chairs are formed from sand-cast brass and hand-stitched leather seats, which can be customised with a tattoo of your family crest. All of P.Tendercool’s distinctive bases for their chairs and tables are hand-cast by a veteran Italian bronze-master who used to work for Salvador Dali himself .
