THe lake rug by raw edges
Shifting and never settling, just like the reflections of light and colours on a lake’s surface, the Lake Rug is handcrafted from wool and bamboo silk in Nepal. This contemporary take on traditional kilim flat weaving is the product of Raw Edges – designers Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay’s fruitful partnership. Available in three sizes and four colours, the varied height of the rug’s pile creates a sawtooth profile, with a different shade on the two edges. Part of the Lake collection, the Lake rug was created for Persian rug company Golran.
