Samsung impresses once again with its 2018 QLED Televisions

this is why Samsung remains the undefeated champion of modern screens

Where Samsung goes, the world follows. Having taken over the mantle of the world’s pre-eminent television producer from Sony more than a decade ago, the South Korean firm’s new QLED TV line-up for 2018 continues to astound. It is certainly in no danger of ceding its crown anytime soon.

Bigger, brighter and more colourful

Unveiled in New York recently, the 2018 QLED collection consists of four Ultra HD models – Q6F, Q7F, Q8C and Q9F – each available in various screen sizes, shipping with virtual assistant Bixby. The QLED (Quantum dot light-emitting diode) technology embedded in the impossibly-thin screens is nothing short of miraculous, delivering startlingly impressive images with colours richer than ever (up to a billion shades can be displayed). That’s perfect for displaying Westworld or Avengers: Infinity War in all their 4K glory, but when the movie is over, the screens also cleverly use the inbuilt Ambient Mode to mimic patterns in the background to blend seamlessly into any environment, or display illustrations of your choice to become an piece of art.

The Samsung 2018 QLED Television collection is available in 49-, 55-, 65- and 75-inches, with the Q9F dwarfing all others with its top-of-the-line 88-inch screen. Prices for Malaysia range from RM6,399 to RM35,999.
