Immerse yourself in deep pleasure with the Avalon bathtub

Best known for its hand-hammered copper sinks and tubs, Native Trails of San Luis Obispo, California uses artisanal techniques to create its range of kitchen and bath products, including the new Avalon bathtub. Released this month, the sleek design is crafted from NativeStone, the company’s proprietary blend of jute fibre and cement that is almost 50 percent lighter than regular concrete.

Sensuously curved and deep, the Avalon is perfect for a long, deep soak after a hard day’s toil. In particular, the thick walls provide ample insulation, ensuring a hot, relaxing immersion will last as long as you want. The Avalon is formed and polished by hand and thus each will feel unique. The tub is finished with a stain-resistant sealer. It is offered in two sizes (starting at US$7,495/RM30,800) and three finishes: Ash, Pearl, and Slate.
