Dior Homme takes to the streets with the Dior Homme BMX bicycle

First teased in an Instagram post by artistic director Kris Van Assche, the Dior Homme BMX bike takes the high fashion brand down to the rugged urban streets. A collaboration with Paris-based BMX manufacturer Bogarde Bikes, the couture bike is sleek, slim and elegant – the same silhouette that characterises Dior Homme on the runway. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the Dior Homme BMX bicycle debuts this week in Dubai, with a global launch in key boutiques rolling out across the world on December 20. This move to embrace adrenaline, even in a chic form, might be surprising, but this new direction by Van Assche was not unheralded; Dior Homme launched the knitted B21 sneaker in October and, reaching further out to the streets, branded skateboards next year.
