This Infiniti Prototype 9 uses time-honoured body crafting techniques. The bare sheet-metal skin is the result of Takumi panel beaters who shaped its aerodynamic form. Power comes via a prototype electric motor and battery from Nissan’s Advanced Powertrain Department.
The car’s design is said to have arisen from a quaint thought: what sort of barn find would one have come across in Japan had Infiniti been present on a racetrack in the 1940s?
