The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet

By Wolfgang Stegers | July 28, 2016

Open Season

This summer, city dwellers who fancy a closer commune with the great outdoors may now revel in the first C-Class cabriolet by Mercedes-Benz. A 9G-Tronic automatic transmission on all engine variants offers dynamic driving with plenty of agility for winding coastal roads and snaking mountain trails. Power from the choice of engines ranges from 156hp up to 367hp, while an optional air suspension provides for an even sportier drive feel.

“Our new C-Class cabriolet is the entry into the world of premium cabriolets from Mercedes-Benz. Sporty and youthful in character and styling, it offers unadulterated open-air driving pleasure all year round,” says Prof Dr Thomas Weber, member of the board of management of Daimler, who also overlooks group research and product development.

Well-defined options such as the Aircap automatic draught stop system and Airscarf neck-level heating keeps things cosy, while maintaining the open connection to nature and that unrivalled feeling of the wind in your hair.
