The second generation Porsche Panamera launches in Malaysia

Authorized Porsche importer and dealer Sime Darby Auto Performance has opened the order books for the all-new Porsche Panamera sports saloon.

Two variants are available at launch, the base 3.0-liter turbo V6 (from RM890,000) and the all-wheel drive 4S (from RM1,100,000) with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. Both feature New eight-speed PDK Porsche dual-clutch gearboxes.

Output figures are 330hp/450Nm and 440hp/550Nm respectively, while the latter also incorporates rear-axle steering for the first time in a Panamera.

Within the cabin, Porsche Communication Management features front and center through a 12.3-inch touchscreen display – piping tunes through 3D Burmester sound system. The instrument panel has similarly been updated with two 7-inch screens on either side of the analogue rev counter.
