The updated Porsche 911 Carrera now packs turbocharged power in non-turbo designated models. The new mill found in the Carrera (from RM870,000), Carrera S and Carrera 4S is a 3.0-litre biturbo flat-six which replaces the old naturally aspirated 3.4-litre and 3.8-litre units. This downsizing has resulted in improvements of 20hp/60Nm across all three alongside appreciable reductions in fuel consumption. Party pieces include a new wheel-mounted rotary dial for driving modes and Apple CarPlay support through the seven-inch touchscreen display.
