DeGem And Lazare Diamonds Honour Women With Breast Cancer

Premier jewellery specialist DeGem, with international diamond brand Lazare, recently hosted an elegant afternoon that celebrated women and their strength in the face of adversities.

The event, held at the fine surroundings of Le Meridien Hotel Kuala Lumpur was attended by special guests invited by DeGem. The VIPs to the afternoon par-tea included Laura Chow, Regional Director and Vice President of Lazare Kaplan Hong Kong and Surayati Hamzah, the CEO of Breast Cancer Foundation Malaysia. Surayati’s presence there was significant as the foundation was working with DeGem and Lazare in their ‘Wing of Hope’ campaign to raise funds for the foundation. For the campaign, the jewellers pledged a contribution of RM50 for every RM5,000 purchase of Lazare diamond jewellery.

Lazare Kaplan International also sponsored a limited edition Wing of Hope diamond pendant and brooch to a lucky DeGem customer during the campaign period. The stunning piece of jewellery is set in 18K yellow gold and encrusted with two Lazare diamonds.

At the event two new collections were also unveiled. ‘Tish’ and ‘The Light of My Life’ collections celebrate all the wondrous complexities of womanhood and the power of enduring love.
