Robb Report Malaysia treated the members and friends of Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Youth to a Perrier-Jouet champagne reception atop the panoramic Beyond Gravity private space at G Kelawai Hotel. From this vantage point, the guests could observe Penang’s north-eastern coastline and George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Downstairs, at the hotel’s swanky 2PM bar, all-day dining and lobby space, the party was welcomed by Dr Lee Ville, REHDA Penang’s Committee Member, as he thanked the national committee who had made the journey northwards for a three-day tour of Penang’s architectural heritage. The guests partook in a discovery of The Glenlivet 18 single-malt scotch and Aberlour 18, royally presented by seasoned whisky ambassador Lionel Lau. Also providing a point of fascination were the stately timepieces from Swiss Watch Gallery, which included a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in steel and Everose gold, Cartier’s new Drive de Cartier in 18-carat pink gold and the hypnotic IWC Portuguese Tourbillon Hand-Wound in rose gold.
