Celebrating Giorgio Armani’s New Looks In Intimate Afternoon Of Champagne And Caviar

By Kenneth Tan | December 18, 2019

A recent afternoon saw guests of Robb Report Malaysia warmly hosted at the Giorgio Armani boutique located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. In between delicious sips of Dom Perignon 2008, the guests were introduced to Giorgio Armani’s 2019 Fall/Winter collection which featured a selection of its main line ready-to-wear pieces and accessories.

On show was Kuala Lumpur’s celebrated chef Darren Chin who showcased his culinary mastery with a range of caviar-accented canapes. The caviar in particular, is of Malaysian origin, from the T’Lur brand which is cultivated in the state of Perak. Among the dishes concocted by chef Chin were Amur caviar on blinis with smoked Stratacilla cheese, dry-aged wild Tasmanian salmon, Alaskan King Crab, and the signature DC cheese board with dried fruits. An added highlight was the highly rare and prized golden caviar, a genetic quirk which creates an entirely different flavoured caviar which occurs once in a hundred times.
