Well, this should be fun. In line with Oktoberfest, Heineken Malaysia has launched a month-long festival dedicated to its portfolio of premium international beers, stouts and ciders simply titled The Grew Brew Fest. This being a celebration of all things beer, the storied portfolio here includes Heineken, Tiger, Guinness and there is additionally a limited release local brew in the form of Tiger Amber Lager – exclusively for the festival. Brewmaster’s notes for the amber lager describe a “ refreshingly full flavour lager, with a hint of malty sweetness and hoppy aroma.”
When the amber lager leaves the taps however, a collection of limited edition designer mugs can be purchased at festival locations. These have been created by Heineken Malaysia with the creative flair of renown local artists such as Kenji Chai, Beautiful Machines featuring Sling, Jarold Sng, CLOAKWORK and Lynda of Pink Tattoos.
