Living At The Top

A bespoke evening of luxury living with Pavilion Suites

On a recent Thursday evening, guests of Pavilion Suits and Robb Report Malaysia congregated at the show unit of Kuala Lumpur’s ritziest residential development. In this bedecked space, guests were given a walkthrough of Pavilion Suites’ couture living concept, with fully furnished designer suites and a range of services for travel and entertainment right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s prized Bukit Bintang district.

Tantalising palates was Michelin-starred chef Jeff Ramsey whose symphonic rendition of Japas (Japanese tapas) included a charcoal grilled Alaskan King Crab, lobster chowder, smoked oysters and a virtual truffle steak of seared wagyu at a marbling score of eight and nine. A presentation by Cortina Watch of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s 2016 novelties ensued, with highlights in horology such as this year’s Reverso Tribute Calendar and Master Ultra Thin Perpetual as well as the spellbinding Duometre Spherotourbillon.

Also lending his prowess to the evening’s proceedings was famed sommelier Yuhei Teraoka, who introduced the Piper Heidsick Rare 2002 and the 1993 Chateau Lafleur, before Louis XIII ambassador Chris Kwek added a final flourish to the night with his Louis XIII experience, serving guests the precious ‘King of Cognacs’ in baccarat crystal.
