A Rare Night

Luxury in its most inimitable form was recently presented to a select group of Robb Report Malaysia’s guests in Penang. The much heralded ‘King of Cognac’ Louis XIII made a grand appearance in the newly unveiled Blanc restaurant, located inside Macalister Mansion. Here, guests perused the delightful array of Louis XIII bottles, which ranged from the miniature and recent Black Pearl AHD, up to the grand Le Jeroboam – a three-litre wonder of crystal making, requiring nine master craftsmen to produce. Inside this bottle resides the famed cognac of Louis XIII, a blend of 1,200 eaux-de-vie, sourced entirely from Grande Champagne and many aged to 100 years and over.

Outside of Blanc, guests were thrilled to discover Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Cullinan, a super-luxury all-terrain SUV which combines advanced chassis technology and aluminium space frame to tackle a multitude of landscapes with ease. Inside of the cabin, supreme luxury enhancements run the gamut of leather seats and a cocktail table, to a drinks cabinet and indulgent seating to whisk you on the marque’s famed magic carpet ride.
