On a sunny afternoon, guests of Robb Report Malaysia rolled into the beautiful Le Nouvel KLCC, a freehold residential development of two towers and collectively designed and imagined by Jean Nouvel, Herve Descottes, Patrick Blanc and Koichiro Ikebuchi. Guests ascended to the 34th floor and were welcomed by sommelier Yuhei Teraoka and the fresh fruitiness of Louis Roederer champagnes and crisp sparkling Perrier.

Here, high above the Kuala Lumpur urbanscape, guests enjoyed a private viewing of Santoni’s artisan-crafted leather accessories and footwear. They were shown the Santoni artisans’ exclusive techniques of mixing natural colours and water to create beautiful shades.

This leather was also seen in a display of IWC Schaffhausen’s range of timepieces at Le Nouvel. Among them were the Portugieser – the first collection to sport Santoni straps – the Pilot and most recently, the Da Vinci collection of this year, including the flagship IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph (RM180,000).
