Against the charming backdrop of The Mansion at The Majestic Malacca, participate in the celebration of San Pedro, a historic Kristang festival that dates back to the 1500s. Also known as the Feast of Saint Peter – the patron saint of fishermen – guests will get a taste of lively folk dancing, music and the delicious culinary heritage of Malacca’s Kristang community.

Guiding the evening’s proceedings is Alvin Kessler, Comprador of The Majestic Malacca, who has made it his life’s mission to conserve the Dutch, Portuguese, Malay, Chinese and Indian elements that richly contribute to Kristang culture. Along with the electrifying Dommarina dance troupe, prepare your tastebuds for ambrosial recipes like Soy Limang Terung, Kari Debal, Nanas Kung Krambang and the buttery Kari Papaya Kung Siput Cupa.

San Pedro’s Night happens this 29 June for one night only.
