The Havana Club Unión rum (RM1,800) is developed to be the perfect pairing with a Cuban cigar, specifically the Cohiba Siglo VI. It takes inspiration from tobacco leaves, and was crafted by maestro Asbel Morales of Havana Club who recreated the rich combination of flavours in aged tobacco leaves; such as tobacco, vanilla, cocoa and caramel. These flavours find great harmony in the aromatic notes of the Cohiba with creamy textures and full-bodied flavours.
This incredibly rare blend is a combination of two naturally-aged rums: Base Oro and Base Centenario. Only 21 bottles of the Union are available for now at selected outlets in Malaysia. Additional but limited quantities are slated to come in early this year.
