Royal Selangor introduces new collectibles for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars

The pewter awakens

Just as the Star Wars movies are now becoming an annual event, Royal Selangor follows that schedule with its regular introduction of pewter merchandise inspired by a galaxy far, far away. So it should come as no surprise that at the recent Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 celebrating the 40th anniversary of the epic franchise of Force and Jedis, Royal Selangor Executive Director Yong Yoon Li introduced three new pewter collectibles.

First up is a Lightsaber document holder, breathing power into work matters. Then there is a meticulously-detailed TIE Fighter model, a tribute to the hapless Imperial ships that is a cast of thousands in the movies.

And finally, the piece de resistance, a limited edition gold-plated Millennium Falcon, the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. Only 200 of these pieces will be produced, to be sold online only on a first-come, first-served basis at the Royal Selangor online shop from midnight 4th May 2017 (UTC+8). We have a got a good feeling about this.
