With La Boite Concept, you can whistle while you work
You often hear of high-quality furniture or audio systems but what about the combination of both? French company La Boite Concept has created just that.
Its collection of elegant speakers is divided into two. The first is the LD series, which are, simply put, Hi-fi desks for laptops. The LD130, for example, is the first all-in-one plug-and-play laptop dock. Simply connect your multimedia equipment via Bluetooth and listen to your favourite tunes with the seven integrated speakers. Untangling cords will also not be an issue here as multiple devices can be connected to a single outlet plug. The handmade structure, with piano lacquer finishes, comes with an exclusive Wide Stereo Sound and anti-vibration feature that enhances the overall audio experience regardless of your location in the room. The LD130 won the Diapason d’Or award for the Best Hi-fi product.
The other series is the Cube, Hi-fi speakers that double as coffee tables. The Cube 2:1 Thruster Edition is the latest version, wirelessly connecting all the music players – tablets, smartphones, laptops, televisions, turntables – whilw effortlessly balancing a cup of coffee. The sleek design belies the audio quality offered: the Cube 2:1 includes a frontal central woofer and a double-bass reflex.
