Based on the design of the Hasselblad V, the V1D is meant to be completely modular – a ‘black box’ that can be configured with displays, viewfinders and accessories on the top and back, as well as controls and grips on the side, whichever way you want. Especially if you’re left handed. At its core, the camera is a 75 megapixel shooter, artillery that is powerful enough to capture the cosmos, while the square body harks back to the Swedish company’s classic designs, a elegant way of merging Hasselblad’s past with what it views its future to be.
