The La Madraza attaché case balances work and play brilliantly

Although the exterior of MARK/GIUSTI’s ‘La Madraza’ attaché case (£745/RM4,051) remains firmly businesslike, its interior is as summery as donning a straw boater and being punted down a canal. It’s covered in blue or slightly more austere navy grained slalom leather – all done by hand, of course – but inside, it’s a different story. Flip it open and marvel at its internal pockets covered with patterned cotton sateen lining, inspired by intricate Byzantine-era floor mosaics and wall patterns.
