Lewis Hamilton’s exploits on the world’s most iconic F1 circuits are well documented, but more recently however the Briton has begun to carve out a name for himself as a motorsport style icon.

A few days prior to the Formula One Malaysia Grand Prix 2016, Hamilton attended an exclusive Hugo Boss event at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Centre Court where he shared his favourite pieces by the Italian style house: “a leather jacket, a perfectly tailored suit, and a white shirt”.

Drawing parallels between his team and this preferred outfitter of his, similar traits include “precision, attention to detail, and avant garde approaches in their respective fields.”

Hugo Boss also designs the teamwear for Mercedes AMG Petronas, used throughout the F1 calendar, and presents a Formula One-inspired “Boss for Mercedes-Benz Collection” biannually. In addition to sponsoring the pinnacle of motorsport, Hugo Boss’ attention is also focused on sailing, football and golf.
