The Montblanc High Artistry Heritage Metamorphosis Limited Edition shows off the luxury maison’s unique flair in crafting the best writing instruments money can buy. This ultra-luxurious objet d’art is the first by Montblanc to come with a detachable jewellery ornament, hence the name Metamorphosis.

Made in the form of a spider, this bejewelled feature rests on the cap of the pen. But a quick reassemble allows the eight-legged creature to be worn as a bangle, tiepin or brooch. Simply combine it with the three jewellery pieces included in the set: one each in white gold with diamonds, champagne gold with rubies and red gold with blue sapphires.

Further variations limited to five, 10 and 88 pieces are also available. Each writing instrument will be delivered with an exclusively designed leather-bound notebook made at Montblanc’s traditional pelletteria in Florence.

Spider-themed writing instruments have been present in Montblanc’s repertoire since the 1920s. But none have been so creatively conceived as the High Artistry Heritage Metamorphosis Limited Edition.
