Breguet’s link with seafaring has existed from the time its founder Abraham-Louis Breguet was awarded the official title of chronometer maker to the French Navy. This heritage has led to this year’s enriched Marine collection which includes the Marine Alarme Musicale 5547 at Baselworld 2018. An alarm, date and second time zone make up a trio of complications on the 40mm titanium case (with options in rose and white gold). Arming the alarm causes a ship’s bell to appear on an aperture located on the wave-like patterned dial. Priced at RM103,200 for the titanium and RM147,600 for the gold versions
