#Baselworld2018 – The cigar-inspired Cohiba Maduro 5 Edition from Zenith

At the 20th prestigious Cuban Habanos Festival, the world saw for the first time two new spicily limited edition timepieces by Zenith. The collaboration between the watchmaker and cigar manufacturer has yielded a 50-piece Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Cohiba Maduro 5 Edition in 18k rose gold (RM95,400) and the 150-piece Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Cohiba Maduro 5 Edition in bronze (RM34,400) both in 45mm. Consequently, BaselWorld this year saw the timepieces attract the attentions of cigar aficionados with a penchant for horology. Utilising the same warm tones of rose gold and bronze, Zenith creates the timekeeping equivalent of the famous cigars from Cohiba, with a titanium case-back bearing the number of the piece in the series.
