The World Cup may be reigning television screens, but there are other prestige sporting events taking place this weekend. Namely, the 87th French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet – marking the return of Formula 1 for the first time since 2008. In the Drivers’ Championship, Sebastien Vettel maintains a slim lead over Lewis Hamilton, so the race will be one to watch.
In celebration of the exciting race, Bell & Ross, the official watch partner of the Renault Sport Formula One Team, presents the first Vintage model from its collections linked to the partnership. To mark the return of Formula 1 to France, the BR V2-94 R.S.18 will be featuring a black rubber strap stamped with the French flag during the French Grand Prix.
This new model is fully immersed in the world of motor racing adoption Formula 1racing codes – featuring a 41mm case in satin-finished steel, a carbon fibre dial and black and yellow in reference to the colours of the Renault Sport Formula One Team. Limited to 999 pieces, the Vintage BR V2-94 R.S.18 will captivate sensation seekers and fans of this sporting discipline, and is available with a micro-perforated calfskin strap with carbon fiber effect and a yellow lining, or a bracelet in satin-finished polished steel. In Malaysia, the watch will retail for RM22,700 (calfskin strap) and RM24,100 (steel bracelet).
