Bulgari’s Octo Tourbillon Sapphire timepiece (price upon application) is an exercise in transparency and luminosity. This spectacularly crafted 44mm-diameter watch comes in DLC-coated (Diamond Like Carbon) titanium, which contrasts against its striking blue detailing and highlights its dial and transparent caseback, offering a visual immersion into the system itself. The mechanical manual-winding flying tourbillon movement, Calibre BVL 206, features 11 DLC-coated bridges adorned with blue bars made of ITR2 – a unique composite material laden with carbon nanotube particles – and SLN, a high-tech luminescent material.
