Football legend Eric Cantona trades spikes for a loupe

Primary inspiration

Eric Cantona is as well known for his rebellious streak as he is for his legendary Manchester United playing career. It is fitting then, that his brand ambassador role for independent watchmaker Hautlence has resulted in the creation of the Hautlence Vortex Primary (RM895,000), limited to 18 pieces worldwide.

The piece features 19 primary-colour crystals laid out in a manner similar to stained glass windows, including on either side for more views of the movement. Within the angular case, the HL2.0 calibre can be found featuring chain-driven half-trailing hours, retrograde minutes, and an indicator for the 40-hour power reserve.
