Released in November, the Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 GMT Limited Edition (€7,300/RM33,670) carries a special dial and oscillating weight to portray its new theme. The 500-piece dual time watch sports a bold, deep red dial evoking Mount Iwate at dawn, with a delicate radial pattern to match the peak’s ridged contours. Through the sapphire case-back, a titanium-tungsten oscillating weight is visible with a vivid gradation of blue, purple, orange and yellow – the same chromatic palette appreciable through the windows of the Shizuku-ishi Watch Studio at daybreak.
