The Harry Winston Moon Phase Automatic 42mm

The latest addition to Harry Winston’s refined Midnight Collection is the Moon Phase Automatic 42mm.

An automatic model featuring date and lunar indications, the Moon Phase Automatic 42mm is a lesson in symmetry. Within the circular dial are off-centre sub-circles, indicated the hour and minutes, the date (in a recessed sub-dial) and the moon phase. The Harry Winston logo is placed in its own arch, punctuated with a solitary diamond. The moon disk has a deliberately rough and textured metallic blue background, evoking the lunar surface itself. Even the sunburst finish of the dial is off-set, emanating not from the middle but the heart of the time sub-dial. All these elements – signature to the Midnight Collection – come together in a perfect combination of distinct arches, like ripples on a silver pond.

The Moon Phase Automatic 42mm is driven by a mechanical automatic movement, visible through the open case back. The exposed white gold oscillating weight features haute horlogerie finishes, including Côtes de Genève and circular graining. The silicon balance spring guarantees absolute precision, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The Harry Winston Moon Phase Automatic 42mm is also available in rose gold, for RM122,800.
