A. Lange & Söhne’s thinnest timepiece yet

Second sliver

The two-handed grace of Lange’s Saxonia Thin continues in this second iteration, now a mere 5.9 millimetres in height.

Available in pink- or white-gold and in case diametres of either 37 or 40 millimetres, the dial has been reworked to match the current Lange family face, so to speak. Compared with its predecessor, launched five years ago, the hour markers in solid gold have been extended and placed closer to the bezel.

With a power reserve of 72 hours fully wound, the thin timepiece features a movement of just 2.2 millimetres in height. Strap, hand and buckle differ according to colour choice, with the white-gold variant carrying hands in rhodiumed gold, black alligator leather straps and prong buckle to match the white gold case.

For the pink-gold Thin, hands and buckle match the case while the strap is reddish-brown shade of alligator leather.
