Richard Mille has found an unlikely partner in North Thin Ply Technology, a Swiss manufacturer of innovative composite materials, to create Gold Quartz-TPT and Gold NTPT carbon. The first is a quartz material combined with gold leaf inserted at 45-degree angles, and the second, a material created similarly, but with carbon instead of quartz. Now used in the cases of the ladies’ RM 07-01 and RM 037 watches (prices upon request), the unique materials ensure that every timepiece they are used for is unique, as the gold leaf pattern never turns out the same.
