Romain Jerome completes its Generational Icons with Donkey Kong

By Vishal Bhaskaran | May 21, 2017

8-Bit appreciation

Before Mario was given his Italian moniker, he was known as Jumpman in the Donkey Kong Nintendo arcade game released in 1981. The angry simian is depicted in RJ’s signature Moon Invader case chucking barrels at a frantic Jumpman; these and other elements are hand-painted in cold enamel using the game’s original colours. A total of 81 pieces will be released – honouring the game’s release year – with a suggested price of SFr15,555 (RM 69,333).
