The 12 Coolest New Watches That Dropped in November

Three new models join Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe collection this November in black ceramic. There are two three-hand-and-date models with a choice of green or blue dials, and a flyback chronograph, photographed here. Breguet presents two new models in its Tradition Chronographe Indépendant 7707 line this November with dials in its signature “Breguet blue” colour. Previously available with a silver-coloured dial, this new blue aesthetic not only creates a new look for this timepiece but improves contrast and readability too. This collaborative timepiece is the result of the creative minds of Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bvlgari’s Executive Director of Watch Design, and French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso. The brass dial and titanium bracelet have been fully coated in a matt-finished, midnight-blue PVD treatment, while the dial highlights a magical cloud of colours that looks like a splash of paint on a blank canvas. Bvlgari Octo Finissimo X Laurent Grasso 40 mm, RM96,020.

Czapek has released a new limited edition of 18 Antarctique timepieces with hand-varnished purple dials crafted by the Swiss dial specialists Metalem. These storm-like dials were the result of a collaboration between Metalem and a local artist, but as they were very bold, the dial maker didn’t think to propose them to any of its clients. When Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek & Cie., accidently discovered the work, he instantly fell under its charm. Czapek Antarctique Purple Storm, 40.5 mm, RM126,255.

The Reverso is a model that needs no introduction thanks to its continuous production for close to a century now. This latest chronograph model by Jaeger-LeCoultre in pink gold comes with a front dial introducing a new aesthetic of fine, laser-engraved horizontal lines, bringing out the angular geometry of the world’s most famous horological rectangle. This timepiece marks the first time that Louis Erard has created a sector dial design. To distinguish the different indications, the brand has used a relief engraving in rose gilt on a finely grained black dial. The watch also comes with rose gold fir-tree hands further enhancing the “neo vintage” feel. Moritz Grossmann celebrates its sweet 16 this November with an eight-piece limited edition Enamel Roman Vintage model in white gold. The model comes with a handcrafted black enamel dial, is powered by the the manual-winding Caliber 100.1, and comes with the brand’s patented crown-and-pusher system. Moritz Grossmann Enamel Roman Vintage, 41 mm, RM292,380.

Our first glimpse of this timepiece was on the wrist of the actor and Omega ambassador Daniel Craig, who wore a stainless steel version to the Olympic Games in Paris over the summer. The official release took place this month with these two models on a mesh bracelet. They take their inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition that appeared in the James Bond film No Time to Die. Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, 42 mm, RM28,795.

Panerai introduced a new Submersible QuarantaQuattro ­– Aspen Scottsdale Edition this month. This special edition was made for Oliver Smith Jewelers, the brand’s first partner in the US, which has three stores in Aspen and Scottsdale. The watch features a rare white dial which has been combined with a blue ceramic bezel. For this latest Ressence timepiece, the Belgium brand has been exploring the ancient Japanese craft of indigo dyeing as part of its contribution to The Indigo Project, led by its long-time partner, Shellman in Tokyo. Ressence collaborated with Swiss Arts & Métiers artisans to create the dial that has an organic yet structured pattern. The different shades of electric blue and black are created by applying a 0.2 mm-diameter and 2.5 m-long silk thread to the dial in a spiral pattern. Ressence Type 8 Indigo 42.9 mm, RM125,369.

The Finnish watchmaker won the GPHG’s Best Men’s Watch with this inverted movement model earlier in the month at the same time as releasing a new version in titanium with a cherry colourway. What is new with this model is that it also features hand-guilloché detailing on the caseback side. Voutilainen V201 Reversed, 39 mm, around RM629,060.

Following the release of its new line of diver’s watches – the DEFY Extreme Diver – earlier this year at Watches and Wonders, Zenith is back with a second version with a silvery-white dial featuring a starry sky pattern. This rugged collection was designed to survive in extreme conditions and comes with a 600 m water resistance.
